About

I am a film director and writer currently living in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production with an emphasis in directing.

After graduation, I was unable to distribute my short film through the festival circuit due to the sensitive political nature of the content. Disenchanted, I had a brief stint in the game industry. I shipped South Park: The Stick of Truth while at Obsidian Entertainment in a Quality Assurance capacity. I was then transferred to a new project, which was morally questionable for me (one of the levels was in war-torn Iraq), and decided to leave that nonsense behind.

I moved to Taiwan and taught English for two years. I reconnected with my husband (boyfriend at the time), and brought him back with me to Los Angeles. He’s a talented screenwriter, and if you won’t hire me, then you should hire him.

I came back to Southern California in 2016, and worked as a freelance editor for a year. After a disturbing lack of healthcare coverage and funds to support myself, I began working at SoCal Gas in a contractor capacity. Thankfully, in July of 2022 I was offered a job at an indie game company, and learned how to enjoy life again. In the meantime, I’m working on multiple writing projects and submitting to endless writing competitions.
